PYTHEAS Your Guided Trajectory
is a medical device for surgical assistance for pedicle screw delivery procedures.
It is intended for spinal surgery for arthrodesis in posterior approach, for the thoracic, lumbar and sacral levels.
During pedicle drilling and then placement of the screw, PYTHEAS Your Guided Trajectory (YGT) assists surgeons with angular guidance in reference to preoperative planning.
PYTHEAS YGT is a complete system, including:

a touch screen, orientation sensors and computer accessories,

and a dedicated ancillary.
PYTHEAS YGT is a CE marked class IIb medical device.

Our history

As early as 2013 - Dr GLARD, pediatric orthopedic surgeon, imagined the concept of assistance by angular guidance.

2015 - PYTHEAS NAVIGATION is founded.

2016 - Innovation Award from the Academy of Surgery, awarded to Dr GLARD for his invention.

2017 - Public Investment Bank (BPI) World Innovation Competition.

End of 2023 - CE marking under the MDR regulation.

2024 - first surgeries at St Joseph Hospital in Marseille - France, then in Spain.
